2022 Grenache Basket Press 'La Torera' New Release Tempranillo David's favorite vintage so farGreat colour, purple hue. About 15% of fruit was destemmed not crushed into ferments, and partly was pressed previous fermentation to bleed off 20% of juice. Lilac, lavender and spice aromas with flavours of dark fruit (plums blueberries), licorice and dark chocolate and a touch of orange rind. It has quite substantial grip given to the concentration flavours, but silky finish, making it very morish, with a fruit and savoury lingering aftertaste.
